Pipster Prep staff members follow both the student-centered and constructivist approach to learning.

A student-centered approach to learning is focused on each student's needs, abilities, interests, and learning styles. Our day is structured so teachers are able to spend time with students one-on-one and in small groups throughout the day and tailor instruction to each student's individual learning goals.

The constructivist approach to learning is the belief that students learn through actively engaging in lessons and activities. We believe that students should spend much of the day actively engaged in activities of their choosing.

Yes and no, all students must be potty-trained before beginning in a preschool or preK classroom. Due to our preschool and preK classrooms not having bathrooms inside the classroom, we are not certified to have students in pull ups or diapers in those classrooms. We know however that accidents will happen and ask that students have at least one full change of clothing stored at Pipster Prep. Classrooms will be taking frequent whole class trips to the restroom. Throughout the day, students will be reminded and encouraged to use the restroom. Students joining in our Mini-Pipster and Miniest Pipster Classrooms do not need to be potty trained before attending.

Yes, Pipster Prep serves breakfast and an afternoon snack everyday. Our breakfast consists of a selection of non-sugary cereal, fruit, and coconut/cows milk. Our afternoon snack varies, a menu of upcoming snacks is posted at our front desk.

We are committed to small class sizes and large amounts of individual instruction. Each class has ten to fourteen children per day.
